Cristiano Ronaldo – The Story So Far | Goal 50
December 23, 2014Cr7 on his vocation
December 23, 2014After a brilliant year with Real Madrid and a tough World Cup campaign with Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo is making the most of his time away from football.
The superstar is currently enjoying La Liga’s two-week winter break after helping Los Blancos win the Club World Cup in Morocco.
And, after travelling home to Madeira to see a new statue of himself unveiled on Monday, the 29-year-old is now putting his feet up ahead of a return to action against Valencia on January 4.
Ronaldo shared an image of himself on Instagram wearing face paint with son Cristiano Jnr and model girlfriend Irina Shayk.
Alongside the photo, the former Manchester United man wrote: ‘Nice to relax and have some fun on some days off.’
Unlike Premier League players, Ronaldo and La Liga’s other stars will be free to enjoy Christmas Day, with no fixtures scheduled until January 3.
After winning the Club World Cup with Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo flew to his home town in Madeira to unveil this new bronze statue of himself. Some of you may have noticed certain exaggerated anatomical details on the body of it.
Well, the photographer definitely did anyway, because there is no way these photos are shot at these particular angles by accident.
Clearly, the enlarged fold on the shorts you see before your eyes has rather unfortunately and unintentionally created the illusion that Ronaldo was either doing a Spinal Tap during modelling sessions for the statue, or needs urgent medical attention. Either way, just like Michelangelo’s David, true art is that because it always elicits a response from those who witness it. The main difference here is that this probably wasn’t meant to happen.
Concerned residents of Madeira need not worry, as back up plans to divert attention from Ronaldo’s schlong are already in place:

The Cristiano Ronaldo name is synonymous with being the best, both on and off the field.
Having began his venture into the fashion world with the introduction of CR7 by Cristiano Ronaldo Underwear and Socks, the superstar sportsman is advancing his CR7 fashion brand by taking the next step and developing a premium shirt line.
Cristiano Ronaldo has continued his partnership with New York based designer Richard Chai who is head designer of the CR7 brand.
The CDFA award winning designer Chai, who is renowned for his work with labels including Marc Jacobs and Donna Karen, collaborates with Ronaldo on design elements across CR7 Underwear and Socks, and now Shirts.
CR7 Brand Principle
Both the CR7 Underwear, Socks and Shirt lines share the same founding principles, providing an upscale take on men’s wardrobe essentials.
“For me, a strong foundation is the most important thing throughout every area of my life.
In my sporting life, a strong foundation enables me to perform at my very best and I apply the same principle to my personal life, business life and the way I dress.
Dressing well gives me confidence to be the best that I can be and underwear with a great fit and modern, stylish shirts are the starting point of every look.”

Why no TATTOO for CR7
December 12, 2014It is a well known fact that many athletes get tattoos for their accomplishments. Football player Cristiano Ronaldo plays in a sport where tattoos are common. As a Real Madrid superstar, reigning FIFA Balloon D’Or honoree, and UEFA Champions League Winner, he seems to have so many accomplishments that he should be sporting a few tats of his own. What many fans don’t know is that Cristiano abnegates from getting any ink. The question is, why?
Cristiano Ronaldo could be best player ever, says Raul
December 12, 2014
Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo could become the best footballer of all time, says former Spain striker Raul.
The New York Cosmos frontman believes Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi are on a par with Brazil great Pele and Argentina legend Diego Maradona.
Ronaldo, 29, was named world player of the year in January.
“I think now he is at the top, and if continues the same way, he could be the best of all time,” Raul, 37, told the BBC World Football show.
“I think Cristiano and Lionel Messi are two of the best players in the history of the game. Are they better than Pele or Diego Maradona?
“They are at the top, but I think it is difficult in football to say who is first or second or third. But if Cristiano continues for five years…”
