Nani wants Premiership moveMay 30, 2007
Highly-rated Sporting Lisbon winger Nani admits he wants to play in England amidst interest from Man United and Tottenham.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and sporting director Damien Commoli are reportedly trying and beat the Premiership champions to his signature.
But Sir Alex Ferguson is known to be a huge fan of the Portuguese starlet and rates him in the same bracket as Cristiano Ronaldo.
There has been a £12million price tag thrown into the equation and it seems a bidding war is on the horizon between the two clubs this summer after the 23-year-old turned down a new Sporting deal.
“Sporting know my opinion about this subject. If an offer arrives which offers a good opportunity then I want to talk about it,” Nani told the Daily Mirror.
“Going to England is one of my options because the Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world and it will be a big challenge,” he added.
“But I have not spoken or made up my mind about any one club. I am prepared to go to England because I believe I would progress there.”
